Yellow Gourmandise Tomato (Lycopersicon lycopersicum): Allow us to play around a bit here. This mini tomato is certainly not an ancient variety, but it's too cute not to mention. A true tomato, the plant won't exceed 30 cm in height. It's a small bush perfect for potting, making an extraordinary centerpiece or a decorative feature on your balcony. Exceptionally productive (for its size), it will fill with yellow cherry-sized tomatoes, making it look like a small, laden Christmas tree. If you're an expert, you can grow it year-round, keeping it indoors or in a greenhouse where it gets plenty of light. We grow it in the ground, without pruning: we haven't encountered any fungal diseases or blossom-end rot, to which it is immune.
The taste? Well, there are better, it's pleasant, sure, but not exceptional.
