Short Tabasco Yellow Chili Pepper (Capsicum annuum): The name can be misleading; this rare chili pepper is not the Tabasco of the famous sauce, which is a different species (C. frutescens). The plant is very productive, the berries are small, no more than 30 mm long and 10 mm in diameter, not overly spicy, about 5,000 SHU, with a typical annuum flavor, strong and spicy, perfect for sautéing or preparations where the heat needs to enhance rather than overwhelm.
The plant is small, reaching 60 cm in diameter. It matures in 80 days from transplanting. Perfect for pots. Rare and ornamental.
